When ICF was founded in 1995, its purpose was to give credibility to an emerging profession and give coaches a place to connect with one another.
Today, ICF is the world’s largest organization of professionally trained coaches, and we are the leading voice for the global coaching community. Together, we are pursuing a powerful vision: ensuring that coaching is an integral part of a thriving society and every ICF Member represents the highest quality of professional coaching.
As we approach our 25th anniversary, we are taking bold steps to accelerate our achievement of this vision, to lead the future of coaching and to create more value for ICF Members.
In January 2020, the International Coach Federation will become the International Coaching Federation.
This is more than a new name: It’s a new way of serving coaches, coaching clients, our communities and the world as we accelerate the pursuit of our vision.
The new ICF will be the global organization for coaches and coaching, and our members will have new opportunities to engage in the ICF ecosystem.
We will achieve this through the work of six unique family organizations. Each will have a dedicated board and resources to move their work forward.
If you are interested in future volunteer opportunities within the ICF ecosystem, please complete the form below. A member of the ICF staff team will contact you if we identify a volunteer opportunity that aligns with your interests and skills.
In April and May 2019, Jean-Francois Cousin, MCC, 2019 ICF Global Board Chair, and Magda Nowicka Mook, ICF CEO/Executive Director, hosted virtual conversations about the forthcoming changes for ICF volunteer leaders and ICF Members.
