International Coach Federation Announces 2018 Election Results

Tracy Sinclair, PCC, elected 2018 ICF Global Board Chair, with Rajat Garg, MCC, joining the Board of Directors.

Lexington, Kentucky, USA— Elections for the International Coach Federation (ICF) 2018 Global Board of Directors have been finalized with the naming of the new 2018 ICF Global Board Chair, Tracy Sinclair, PCC (United Kingdom).

“It is a great honor to have been elected as the ICF Global Board Chair for 2018 and I most sincerely thank everyone who has supported me in this process. As ICF grows, develops and evolves, I will do my very best to help us navigate the path that keeps us at the forefront of coaching. I believe that coaching can leverage positive change at all levels and we now have a better opportunity than ever before to enable our societies to thrive,” Sinclair said.

Sinclair joined the ICF Global Board in January 2016 and most recently served as Secretary/Treasurer. She has extensive experience in the field of leadership development and is a past president of ICF United Kingdom. During the election process, the ICF Nominating Committee also slated her to serve a second two-year term as a Global Board Director.

Another outcome of the election is the addition of a new coach to the Board of Directors, Rajat Garg, MCC (India).

“I am very excited and privileged to be a part of the ICF Board. I look forward to supporting ICF and having the opportunity to make an impact on the coaching profession across the globe. I plan to collaborate with ICF Chapters and clients globally, opportunities which will help to initiate the next evolution of coaching and coaches in the coming years,” Garg said.

Garg is a Master Certified Coach with over 16 years of experience ranging from working with CEOs, senior managers and boards of directors in companies of all sizes. He has served as an assessor for ICF Credentialing and a member of ICF’s Independent Review Board.

Additionally, ICF Global Board Director José Augusto Figueiredo, ACC (Brazil), was selected by the Nominating Committee to serve a second two-year term on the Board.

The 2018 ICF Global Board of Directors will be comprised of:

  • Marcia Reynolds, Psy.D., MCC (USA)
  • Valerie Robert, ACC (Switzerland)
  • Sara Smith, MCC (USA)
