COVID-19 Resources for ICF Coaches

ICF Chapters around the world provide continuing education and support year round—in person and virtual. Below you will find a list of upcoming virtual ICF Chapter events.

ICF has also launched the ICF Events platform, where Chapters can create and post their events in real time. In the coming months, we encourage all Chapters and those looking for ICF Chapter-hosted events to visit the ICF Events platform, as this existing page and the information it contains below will begin to be phased out. By December 31, 2021, this page will no longer be active, at which point, all Chapter events will appear on the ICF Events platform.

    Coaching Supervision

Coaching Supervision is a collaborative learning practice to continually build the capacity of the coach through reflective dialogue for the benefit of the coaches, their clients, and their organizations. (adapted ICF definition). Group supervision uniquely provides a space for collective reflection and learning. Coaches explore the depth and breadth of their coaching work through three lens—self as coach; relationship with the client; influence of the system/s in which the client works. The group experience is designed to build a coach’s confidence, competence, connection, creativity, and compassion.

    Poetry as a Coaching Move

Has a line of poetry ever inspired you? Provided solace? Challenged your thinking? This presentation is designed to offer you an experience of working with a variety of poems (and poets) that you can potentially offer to your clients as a way to invoke, evoke and provoke. You will be provided several poems that are relevant to coaching, given a brief background on the poet, and offered ways that you might incorporate the poem into your coaching. Poetry can open the door to rich coaching conversations that might not otherwise have been possible. This program supports the Core Competencies of creating awareness (7) and facilitating growth (8).
