International Coaching Federation Cosigns Global Statement Regarding Climate Change

ICF is among five global coaching and mentoring bodies to commit to action on the climate crisis.

Lexington, Kentucky, USA—The International Coaching Federation (ICF) has joined four other global coaching, mentoring and supervision professional bodies in releasing a global statement on the climate and biodiversity crisis.

ICF, the Association for Coaching, the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches, the Association for Professional Executive Coaching and Supervision, and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council have signed a global statement committing themselves to collaborative action and a collective voice on the climate and biodiversity crisis.

“It is encouraging to see major coaching and mentoring bodies coming together and uniting behind one of the most important societal issues: climate change. ICF’s vision is to create a thriving society. By committing to action on the climate and biodiversity crisis, we are taking an important step toward coaching and coaches realizing this goal,” ICF CEO Magdalena Nowicka Mook said.

The statement is available here.

In 2020, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) celebrates 25 years as the global organization for coaches and coaching.
