International Coach Federation Announces 2018 Prism Award Finalists
Organizations celebrated for building sustainable, high-impact coaching cultures.
Lexington, Kentucky, USA—Four organizations from diverse industry sectors are finalists for the International Coach Federation’s (ICF) 2018 International Prism Award.
Airbus, Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Ireland’s Health Service Executive and the University of British Columbia will compete for ICF’s top honor for organizations that use coaching. ICF’s CEO/Executive Director, Magdalena Mook, and 2018 Global Board Chair, Tracy Sinclair, PCC, will announce the winner of this year’s award September 26, 2018, at the Human Capital Institute’s (HCI) Learning and Leadership Development Conference in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Since 2005, the International Prism Award has honored businesses and organizations with coaching programs that fulfill rigorous professional standards, address key strategic goals, shape organizational culture and yield discernible and measurable positive impacts. 2018 marked a new milestone for the Prism program, as every nominated organization reviewed by the Prism panel of judges met ICF and HCI’s rigorous criteria for a strong coaching culture.
To be eligible for Prism consideration, an organization must have implemented coaching prior to 2017 and be nominated by a coach who holds an up-to-date ICF Credential and has participated in the coaching initiative.
The nominating coaches for this year’s finalist organizations are:
- Brian Chaloner, PCC, of Airbus Leadership University
- Irene Harris, ACC, Training and Accreditation Manager and internal coach practitioner for Ireland’s Health Service Executive
- Donna Howes, PCC, an external coach practitioner for the University of British Columbia
- Eileen Laskar, MCC, an external coach practitioner for Co-operative Bank of Kenya
“The International Prism Award is a distinction very much sought after by organizations that embrace professional coaching. I want to recognize all the applying organizations as they exemplify excellence in building strong coaching cultures. I also want to acknowledge this year’s nominating coaches for their passion, commitment and demonstration of high professional standards,” Mook said.
