Further Memorial Details for Kay Cannon, MCC, Announced

ICF Past President Kay Cannon, MCC, passed away at her home in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, on October 29, 2018, following a seven-month battle with glioblastoma. You can read more about Kay’s life, legacy and impact on ICF here.

A public visitation was held in Lexington on November 1, 2018. A second visitation will be held November 3, in Kay’s hometown of Dripping Springs, Texas. It will take place from 1–3 p.m. (local time) at Harrell Funeral Home of Dripping Springs, 100 Heritage Drive & HWY 290W, Austin, TX 78737.

Kay’s Celebration of Life will be held November 10, 2018, in Lexington, Kentucky. Details are as follows:

Hosted By: The Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation

Location: Dr. Thomas Hunt Morgan House, 210 North Broadway, Lexington, KY 40507

Time: There will be an open house from 5–8 p.m. (local time). At 6:30 p.m., there will be a digital presentation of Kay’s life and work.
