In 2005, ICF Global adopted the Prism Award, a concept developed by ICF Toronto to recognize outstanding organizational coaching initiatives. Today, the International Prism Award honors businesses and organizations with coaching programs that fulfill rigorous professional standards, address key strategic goals, shape organizational culture, and yield discernible and measurable positive impacts.

2016 Prism Award Honorees
In 2010, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) created a global Coaching Centre of Excellence that standardized coaching throughout the organization by improving access, ensuring quality and efficiency, and creatively containing costs. Coaching at GSK has increased by 2,900 percent within the last half-decade and has been credited with an ROI of $66 million USD.

Beyond Emancipation (Honorable Mention)
Beyond Emancipation (B:E) serves former foster youth in Alameda County, California, USA, through an innovative, social-justice oriented direct service model with coaching at its heart. As a result of coaching, B:E's clients have demonstrated increases in planning and decision-making skills, critical thinking, the ability to set and achieve goals, the ability to delay gratification, and the ability to articulate a future-oriented vision.

Coca-Cola HBC Russia (Honorable Mention)
Coca-Cola HBC Russia adopted coaching in 2010 to facilitate the shift away from a top-down management style. Coaching in the organization has been credited with decreasing turnover, increasing employee engagement, and enhancing employees' knowledge and practice of organizational values. Currently, the organization is using coaching for change management as the organization adapts to challenges posed by Russia's economic downturn.
